2018 target projectProject Name: Japan – film editing and research projectApplicant: Pavel RuzyakIn July 2019, I had the opportunity to live in Tokyo for almost three weeks and work on a film project. In the summer of 2017, I embarked on a documentary film about contemporary life in Japan. Since then I have been working on the project collecting material (new footage), researching, and editing. It was an important opportunity to revisit Tokyo this summer. I knew exactly what my project needed and had the opportunity to focus on editing. Networking is another element of my project; all of these stages have developed significantly during my stay. I would now like to elaborate on these key issues that the city I lived in has.
