Graduated from Tama Art University, majoring in product design in 2006

After graduating from university, he worked at NEC Design and Iwasaki Design Studio before founding PRODUCT DESIGN CENTER in 2012.
His design activities span a wide range of fields, from everyday items to mobility design such as railway cars, public works projects, and spatial design. He often collaborates with luxury brands and craft artists both in Japan and abroad, and is also actively involved in material development and collaboration with local industries.
One of his representative works, the "DYK" knife, is included in the permanent collection of MoMA (Museum of Modern Art, New York). The design of the Sagami Railway 20000 series carriages won the Laurel Prize in 2019.
He was selected for the LVMH HUBLOT DESIGN PRIZE, won the ELLE DECOR Young Talent Designer of the Year award, and has served as a judge for the Good Design Award, visiting professor at Kanazawa College of Art, and lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts.
